Job description

This Registered Nurse (RN) (Float Pool Intermittent) position is located within the Associate Director-Patient Care Service at the VA Bedford Healthcare System. This position is intermittent/per diem.

Duties

The Registered Nurse is a member of the Float Pool at VA Bedford. The Float Pool is designed to cover staffing shortages that occur on a day-to-day basis. The Float Pool RN is assigned to an inpatient nursing unit by the Nurse of the Day (NOD) based on staffing needs in the organization for that shift and the individual's competency level.
