Qualifications

  • Adheres to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics for Nurses and Midwives at all times.
  • Maintains clear and identified professional boundaries at all times.
  • Create environments which empower children and families to be fully involved in their care.
  • Undertakes assessment, care planning and evaluation of childrens care needs collaboratively with families, taking action to address any issues or complications.
  • Ensures individualised high-quality care is delivered at all times, that is underpinned by evidence-based practice and guidance.
  • Works in accordance with The Childrens Trust policies and operating procedures.

The Childrens Trust is the UKs leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Job responsibilities

The role of the Registered Nurse (Band6) is to assist the House Manager by leading and managing a team of Registered Nurses(Band 5), and Children’s Support Assistants, ensuring the safe andeffective delivery of a high standard of care across a twenty four hour period.
