Overview

Registered Nurse Associate to join our Primary Care team at HMP Wayland, a category C Prison located in Griston, Norfolk. You'll receive a salary of up to £32,346 depending on experience. Hours: 7.30 am – 7.30 pm Monday to Friday; 08:30 am – 17:30 Weekends.

Main duties of the job
  • Provide outstanding care to patients, listening to and acting on feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them
  • Contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics, and assist patients with activities of daily living and personal care
  • Deliver non-judgemental care including health promotion clinics and observations; support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care within healthcare centres and on wings and house blocks
  • Inspire excellence by forging strong links within teams, partners and stakeholders and providing a service that is trusted, safe and something to be proud of
  • Promote best practice, evidence-based care and continuous quality improvement, embedding a culture of shared learning; promote patient wellbeing through the Wellbeing Approach with empathy and understanding
