A home, not just a service

Greenacres is a nursing home for disabled adults in the rural area of Sutton Coldfield, which is just outside of Birmingham. The service is a warm and vibrant home for up to 33 people aged 18 to 90.

As a Registered Nurse, you will join our nursing‑led service supporting adults with severe acquired brain injuries, complex physical disabilities, and long‑term health conditions. This is a hands‑on, high‑needs role requiring confident clinical skills, including PEG feeds, medication administration, and intimate nursing care. You will provide person‑centred care to residents with a wide range of physical and learning disabilities, autism, and complex health needs. The ideal candidate will be NMC registered, physically capable of meeting demanding care requirements, and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Your working hours

We offer occasional hours. You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota.

Why you’ll love working here

As well as providing support for your wellbeing and development, we offer a fantastic range of benefits:

  • 28 days holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays (+1 every year up to 33 days)
  • Stream: Access up to 40% of your pay before payday!

  • Health cash plan: Affordable healthcare at your fingertips
  • Career Development: Opportunities for apprenticeships and recognised qualifications
  • Free DBS check
  • Employee Assistance Programme: Support when you need it most, plus so much more!

From 1 December 2025 new enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep‑Ins.
