Overview

Here at InHealth, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for a Registered Nurse with experience in an endoscopy setting. You will deliver Endoscopy services for our brand new Community Diagnostic Centre in Birmingham to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients.

This is a full-time role working 8am - 6pm, 4 days a week with flexibility through Monday to Sunday and a weekend rota done on a fair and flexible basis.

Main duties of the job

What you’ll do:

  • Provide assistance pre/during/post diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of care.
  • Support the senior clinical team, demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff.
  • Participate in the decontamination, traceability and care of endoscopes and other specialised equipment used within the endoscopy unit.
  • Take part in clinical audits.
  • Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
