Join Our Award-Winning Team at Longfield Care Home. Located on the outskirts of the village of Eglinton and ten miles from Derry, Longfield Care Home offers a welcoming environment with specialised care for residents across two units. We support 35 General Nursing residents in the Foyle and Faughan Units, alongside 11 Residential Dementia residents in the Moore Suite. Our commitment to excellence was recognised at the 2024 Staff Nursing Awards, where our Home Manager received a Highly Commended for Home Manager of the Year, and our Team Leader won Care Assistant of the Year. The role of a Registered Nurse in our services is a key position in our mission to provide excellent and inclusive care. It is a leadership role, playing a vital part in managing the care of our residents and providing high-quality, person-centred care. The Registered Nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plans tailored to the individual needs of our residents. You will support the management of shifts, ensure the safety of all residents and our team, and contribute to ongoing personal and professional development.
