Overview

We are seeking talented and caring individuals looking to begin or continue their career in Social Care with us, making a difference to the lives of our residents at Renaissance Care. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Riverside Care Home for full time hours.

Responsibilities
  • Lead your team in ensuring each resident receives the highest quality, person-centred care.
  • Plan, implement, evaluate and record the care given to residents and ensure care plans are accurate, personalised and kept up to date.
  • Induct, train and supervise colleagues and junior staff, ensuring they are confident in their role.
  • Administer medications to residents with utmost care and attention, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
  • Promote the independence of residents and ensure they enjoy a good quality of life, retaining their dignity, choice and individuality.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and knowledge of professional care standards required by the NMC code of conduct, as well as knowledge of up-to-date clinical practices.
  • Aware of Health and Safety procedures required in the role and able to ensure they are followed.
  • Experience in a similar role and in leading a multidisciplinary team and acting as the Nurse in Charge is preferred.
