Job description

Registered Manager

Location : Wolverhampton (Office-Based)

Salary : £50,000 per annum (DOE) + Performance Bonus

Contract : Full-Time, Permanent

About the Opportunity

An established and rapidly growing healthcare provider in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead their regulated community care services.

This is a senior leadership role focusing on quality, compliance, and governance, not day-to-day operations. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Care and Quality and the senior management team to ensure services consistently meet — and exceed — the standards set out by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The organisation delivers high-quality care across Complex Care, Domiciliary, and Learning Disability services, supporting both adults and children with complex health needs. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on care quality and outcomes at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold CQC registration for all regulated activities (including Personal Care, TDDI, Diagnostic & Screening, and Surgical Procedures).
  • Lead CQC inspections, compliance audits, and internal governance reviews.
  • Oversee internal quality systems, risk management, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Embed a culture of excellence, learning, and accountability across services.
  • Provide professional leadership and mentoring to care managers and coordinators.
  • Support the senior team with governance reporting, board presentations, and quality initiatives.
  • Act as the organisation’s primary point of contact for regulatory and inspection matters.
About You

We’re looking for a confident, knowledgeable, and inspirational leader who thrives in a governance-led role.

Essential requirements
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager with a Good or Outstanding CQC track record.
  • In-depth understanding of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry (KLOEs) and the Single Assessment Framework.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong background in compliance, audits, and service improvement.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness with strategic thinking ability.
  • Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regionally as required.
Desirable
  • Experience within complex care or multi-stream regulated services.
What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary of £50,000 DOE plus a performance-based bonus.
  • A senior, office-based leadership position in a fast-growing healthcare organisation.
  • Genuine opportunity to influence quality outcomes and achieve Outstanding CQC ratings.
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture across operational and clinical divisions.
  • Ongoing professional development and autonomy to shape your department.
Key Focus

This position is governance and quality-led — ideal for a Registered Manager seeking to focus on compliance excellence rather than day-to-day operational delivery.
