About the Role

Eden Brown Executive are supporting a children's home provider to recruit an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead their new 2-bed Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home. This is the company's ninth home and provides a fantastic opportunity to help shape and grow a high-quality Service.

The home is a spacious 4-bedroom property, registered for two children, making it an ideal setting for solo placements. You will have the autonomy to create a nurturing, safe, and stable environment where children and young people can thrive.

This role offers flexibility, with 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home each week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and management of the children's home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
  • Ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a motivated staff team, fostering a supportive and resilient workplace culture.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and placement planning effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, professionals, and families to promote collaborative care planning.
  • Lead the home through Ofsted inspections, striving for Good or Outstanding outcomes.
  • Contribute to the wider organisation's growth, sharing best practice across all services.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an EBD/children's residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and children's home legislation.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team development skills.
  • Ability to balance operational demands with a child-centred approach.
  • Flexible and resilient, with a passion for making a difference in the lives of children and young people.

  • Competitive salary 48,000 - 55,000 (Registered Manager) or 60,000 - 70,000 (Dual Registration).
