Overview

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager for one of our clients to lead a team in supporting children and young people with complex behavioural and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs in a residential setting. This is a key leadership role requiring safeguarding, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a residential team and ensure high standards of care.
  • Lead and support staff in delivering person-centred care plans for children with SEMH needs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Ofsted and CQC requirements.
  • Promote a therapeutic and nurturing environment that supports emotional development and resilience.
  • Work closely with families, social workers, and external agencies to support care pathways.
  • Manage budgets, staffing, and operational responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • QCF Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years\' experience in residential childcare, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven experience working with children and young people with complex needs, including SEMH.
