About Our Client

• Proven leadership experience in a children’s residential setting.

Technical Expertise

• In‑depth knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015).
• Understanding of Ofsted inspection frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead on audits, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
• Skilled in developing Statements of Purpose, care plans and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with legislation including Children Act 1989/2004, Working Together to Safeguard Children and Health & Safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities – Responsible Individual

• Ensure the home meets and exceeds Ofsted standards, achieving “Good” or “Outstanding” ratings.
• Oversee all aspects of care delivery, safeguarding and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor the Registered Manager and senior team to maintain high‑quality practice.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for service growth and improvement.
• Liaise with local authorities, external agencies and stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for children.
• Monitor performance, budgets and resources to maintain sustainability and excellence.
• Drive a culture of continuous learning, development and therapeutic care.
