Location: Burton on Trent (DE14)

Salary: £42,000-£50,000 per annum + performance bonus up to £4,800

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm + on-call

Qualifications: Level 5 Management Diploma + Full UK Driving Licence

About the Role

We are looking for a Registered Manager to oversee our 4-bed Learning Disabilities (LD) residential home. You will lead a dedicated team delivering person‑centred care tailored to children with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational running of the home to Ofsted outstanding standards.
  • Lead a skilled team delivering structured, therapeutic and personalised support.
  • Ensure safe, nurturing routines that promote independence and life skills.
  • Work closely with SEN schools, health professionals and MDT networks.
  • Oversee safeguarding, compliance, care planning and family engagement.
  • Drive performance, quality assurance and service development.
  • Manage recruitment, rotas, supervision and staff progression.
Requirements
  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management.
  • Experience supporting children with LD and/or complex needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN frameworks, communication strategies, and behavioural support.
  • Motivational leadership style and passion for disability support.
