Job summary

A leading children's home provider is seeking a Registered Children’s Home Manager for their facility in Bedford. You will lead and inspire a team to maintain a nurturing and positive environment for young people aged 10-18. Requirements include QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare and at least 2 years in a supervisory role in a registered children's home. This role offers a salary of £49,159 - £52,251 per annum with additional bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children’s Home.

Homes2Inspire are looking for a passionate and inspiring Registered Children’s Home Manager to lead our beautiful, spacious home located near the centre of Bedford. First opened in 2010, our home provides care and accommodation for up to four young people aged 10–18, both male and female.

As Registered Manager, you’ll lead with empathy and strength, guiding your team to maintain this positive environment while supporting each young person’s unique journey. What you’ll bring
  • QCF Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare (or working towards)
  • At least 2 years’ recent experience in a supervisory role within a Registered Children’s Home
  • Proven leadership skills with a child‑centred approach
  • Strong knowledge of children’s home regulations and legislation
  • A positive track record with Ofsted inspections
  • Ability to inspire a team and build trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Full UK Driving Licence
