Overview

Summary: We are delighted to be working on behalf of a luxury and high-end retirement village to help them secure a full time and permanent Registered Domiciliary Care Manager to support and manage their care teams across both Corsham and Cirencester villages. Our client specialises in creating beautiful, innovative, and contemporary environments for residents. You will be responsible for the provision of a high-end domiciliary care service to wealthy residents living in a gated village community.

Responsibilities
  • To ensure the services delivered are safe, meet legal/regulatory CQC requirements, and the organisation's policy and practice standards.
  • The implementation and management of quality control systems including audits, complaints and compliments handling, inspections and customer feedback.
  • Undertake and monitor assessments for new clients and review those for existing clients.
  • Establish and maintain all records required for the protection of clients and the effective running of the service including care planning, billing, risk assessments, and health and safety.
  • Continuously evaluate and develop the service to achieve the highest quality, customer satisfaction and CQC recognition.
  • Manage and lead the team to deliver a high quality, responsive and flexible service.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with residents and family members.
  • Empower the team to develop personal and professional skill sets.
  • Oversee recruitment, induction and training of the team, working with team leaders to develop their skills.
  • Plan staff resource to ensure demands of the business are met.
  • Undertake effective and regular 121s, appraisals and team meetings, while supporting team leaders to do the same.
  • Ensure the team works flexibly and supports other teams and services across the village as necessary.
  • Create and administer weekly care rotas and plans ensuring there are no gaps in service delivery.
  • Promote and market the service to potential clients ensuring ongoing growth of service is achieved.
  • Support the sales and marketing team in promoting the village and services to potential customers and their families, friends and advocates.
  • Manage all regulated activity in line with duties as Registered Manager, maintaining relationship with CQC.
  • Work at a strategic level as a member of the Senior Leadership team, contributing to the effective operation and management of the village.
Qualifications and Required Skills
  • A NVQ Level 5, RMA in health and social care or equivalent is desirable.
  • A willingness to undertake NVQ Level 5, RMA.
  • Show evidence of personal development.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
  • 5 years experience of working in a care setting.
  • Experience with managing and leading a team.
  • Experience with meeting financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of working at a strategic level as part of a wider leadership team.
