Regional Retail Sales Manager - South Wales & West

Highly competitive salary plus quarterly on-target bonus of 15% if sales targets achieved (with quarterly stretch target bonus of 40%) and other excellent benefits.

The regional manager for retail stores is a visionary leader responsible for driving exceptional sales revenue across the South Wales & West area. With a proven track record of delivering results and sustained success, this role requires a dynamic individual with a passion for building and coaching high-performing teams and implementing innovative strategies.

To be considered for this position, you must have an extensive retail background within a leading brand. We are looking for a sales champion with a focus on world-class service delivery, who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and who enjoys working as part of a team.

This role is field-based, so you'd have to be comfortable and happy to commute across all of South Wales & West, the geography of the store portfolio.

What to expect from the role

The regional manager for retail stores will build, coach and lead high performing teams and strategically drive exceptional sales and profitability within Pandora owned and operated stores whilst retaining a customer-centric 'best in class' approach at all times. Global and local brand standards must be executed consistently, commercially and efficiently. The regional manager will be responsible for building strong partnerships with key stakeholders and implement innovative strategies in order to sustainably maximize the people, product & operational opportunities within the region.

Key responsibilities:
  1. People
  • Lead, inspire and develop your people to build committed and high-performing store managers and teams. Adapt leadership and coaching styles to accommodate the varying experience levels across; people management & development, selling, stock and operational excellence and visual merchandising.
  • Promote an inclusive and diverse culture in line with the Pandora Brand Values.
  • Champion a positive and flexible work culture, promoting continuous improvement and effective change.
  • Develop and invest in talent to create a robust internal talent pipeline and succession plan.
  • Performance and standards
    • Successfully drive sales performance to achieve and exceed sales targets and store KPIs for the nominated territory.
    • Coach and lead store managers and teams to maximise sales & profitability and to deliver high standards of operational execution.
    • Lead and deliver 'best in class' customer experience, brand initiatives and operational standards across all stores.
  • Partnerships, training and communication
    • Business partner closely with HR, Retail ops, Training and Merchandising in order to maximize potential in people, product and sales.
    • Partner with the 'Sales Training' team to develop training programmes to deliver sustainable business results.
    • Facilitate face-to-face trainings and workshops for store teams.
  • Process, analysis and administration
    • Analyse business performance, data and reporting to identify commercial opportunities, implement change and corrective actions where appropriate.
    • Understand industry standards and benchmarks and seek innovative ideas to ensure Pandora is a market leader in service and operational standards.
    • Manage payroll in line with business expectations.
    Qualifications and experience:
    • Extensive store management experience within a large organisation, running a high profile region with a high turnover.
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering in a similar multi-site field management role (e.g., Multi-Site Manager, Area Manager, District Manager).
    • A customer-centric and service-focused team leader with a target-driven and sales-focused mentality.
    • A strategic and solutions-focused manager with an excellent understanding of how to successfully achieve retail KPIs.
    • Ability to prioritize and work under time pressure, displaying pace and energy.
    • An inspiring leader, coach and mentor with excellent people development skills.
    • High level of business acumen and experience with strategic planning.
    • Data driven and experience with scheduling, high performance and productivity, stock optimisation, payroll and territory management.
    • Self-motivated, organised and logical with effective time management skills.
    • A creative flair with experience in visual merchandising.
