Qualifications

  • Experience in a sales capacity within the construction or hire industry.
  • Proven track record in selling technical engineered solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in line management of field sales colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of Sales Managers to meet revenue targets.
  • Develop and implement sales tactics aligned with sales plans.
  • Promote Standard Pre-Engineered solutions to increase revenue.
  • Produce design briefs for bespoke engineering solutions.
  • Build relationships with new and existing customers for revenue growth.
  • Engage with the Field Engineer/Engineering team for collaboration.
  • Support the growth of national/key accounts through local relationships.

Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders.

We are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to support our growing South East Sales team, this is a fantastic role that will allow the successful candidate to up skill and develop through the company, you will find more details below.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, inspire, motivate and coach a team of Sales Managers to align with this role and deliver the overall budget revenue targets.
  • Develop, produce and implement sales tactics in line with annual sector-based communicated Sales plans that will maximise revenue from existing and new products.
  • Promote Standard Pre-Engineered solutions through the depot sales desks to increase revenue.
  • Produce quality design briefs for engineering team for bespoke solutions.
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers to achieve budgeted targets, focussing on specified 20k+ and national customers for growth opportunities.
  • Accelerate multi point engagement of Field Engineer/Engineering /General Manager team across the customer.
  • Support the development of national/key accounts through local relationships, directed by the national account team.
What you need
  • Experience in construction / hire with a Sales capacity
  • Sold technical engineered solutions
  • Evidenced line management of field sales colleagues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, enquiry pipeline and client relationship management systems
