A leading manufacturer of packaging is seeking a Regional Sales Director for their flagship site in Kettering. This critical leadership role involves managing a team of 30, driving the commercial strategy, and ensuring a customer-first approach. The package includes a competitive salary up to £95,000 and 20% bonus.
Regional Sales Director – Flagship Site!
THE ROLE:
This is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced, dedicated and effective Regional Sales Director to join a highly respected and growth-focused European manufacturing group to support in the leadership and management of one of the companies flagship sites. Working closely with the Director of the site, you will demonstrate a ‘customer first’ approach, driving the wider team, across operations, customer service, commercial and sales, to emanate this in everything they do.
This is a critical leadership position, with a team of 30 made up of direct and indirect reports across sales, customer service, commercial & technical, where you will be responsible for setting and executing mid-to-long term strategy, developing high-performing teams, and driving profitable growth through strategic customer engagement, multi-site coordination, and data-led decision making.
You will ensure that the customers, who could be any business that would require a corrugated packaging solution but typically will be large manufacturers or distributors of FMCG or pharmaceutical products, receive a second to none service from the beginning of the relationship with the commercial team, to the delivery via the operations team, and on going through the customer service team.
Given the responsibility across various different departments there is a requirement to be present on site at least 3 days per week, so you will need be happy to work in a hybrid model, as well as open to travel internationally as and when required.
