Regional Account Manager - Premium Interior Decorative Paint & Decorative Materials

£50,000-£53,000, Company Car, Bonus, Pension 25 days leave + BH, fantastic career prospects.

Territory & Requirements

Sales Territory: London RM, ME, TN DA, BR, IG WD, TW & KT Postcodes. Candidates MUST LIVE on patch.

Responsibilities
  • Develop & expand the brand's presence within the independent decorative retail channel/ Independent Home Improvement Retailers and The Decorative Trade
  • Build strong partnerships with specialist independent trade retailers & interior designers to secure long-term growth.
  • Deliver technical & sales training to Retail staff on technical qualities of paint products
  • Ensure company brand standards are adhered to in each store
  • Ensure products are well presented within brand parameters
  • Achieve agreed sales and profit targets through new business development and account management.
  • Drive sales to premium professional painters through specialist trade retailers and company-owned showrooms.
  • Represent the brand at exhibitions and industry events.
Ideal Candidate
  • Proven track record of managing a portfolio of decorative retailers & home improvement retailers
  • Minimum 3 years account management experience selling a premium brand home improvement product.
  • Experience of training and mentoring trade & retail shop floor staff in order to increase sales
  • Experience of collaborating with Trade Retailers to maximise sales
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Passionate about design, vibrant colours and premium interior decorative products.
