Overview

Are you a refrigeration engineer looking to come off the tools? We're supporting a specialist refrigeration and air conditioning business looking to bring in an Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities

• You'll use your practical experience to support equipment selection, system specification and technical proposals, working closely with customers, contractors and suppliers.
• The Role: Use your site experience to assist with the specification and selection of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Work closely with contractors, consultants and end-users to understand real-world requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
• Produce technical proposals, sizing calculations and equipment selections.
• Support technical queries alongside the wider engineering team.
• Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure systems are correctly specified and compatible.

Qualifications

• A refrigeration engineer looking to come off the tools into a technical support/applications role.
• Strong background in HVAC, ideally refrigeration, commercial cooling or cellar coolers.
• Practical understanding of system design, refrigerants and industry standards.
• Comfortable producing calculations, selections and technical documentation (or keen to learn).
• Clear communicator who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a close-knit technical team.
