Job summary

A local council is seeking a Recycling Operative to assist customers in the recycling and disposal of waste materials at their Shepshed & Lount Depots. The role includes operating machinery and providing excellent customer service. This is a temporary position starting at GBP 13.65 per hour, with potential for extension. Applicants must have a full driving license and be able to work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a full driving license.
• Ability to deal with the general public.
• Experience in manual work preferred.

Job description

Local Council are looking for a Recycling Operative for their Shepshed & Lount Depots

You will be required to cover both sites, therefore transport and a full driving license will be required.

Working outside you will be required to assist and advise customers with the recycling and disposal of waste materials.

The position includes:

• Completion of manual work
• Dealing with the general public
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to operate machinery.
• Able to work as part of a team.

Commencing on a temporary basis, initially for 6 months, however will lead to longer for the right candidate

Pay GBP13.65 per hour

Working Days: 5 out of 7 days - WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS

Summer hours are 9am 7pm.

Winter hours from October 9am 4pm
