Job description

We're on an exciting journey to elevate our global talent attraction strategy and we're looking for a creative, curious, and hands‑on Recruitment Marketing & Early Careers Project Specialist to join us. This role offers an excellent platform for someone looking to grow their career in recruitment marketing and early careers, with the opportunity to contribute to global projects, work closely with senior stakeholders, and learn within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

In this role, you'll focus on two key areas. First, you'll explore existing Employee Value Proposition (EVP) projects and help build global recruitment marketing toolkits and frameworks that unite our brand globally while allowing local adaptation. Over time, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and managing our global EVP strategy. Second, you'll support the Early Careers Lead on strategic projects that strengthen our early careers offering, contributing to initiatives that attract and inspire graduates, interns, and apprentices across our global footprint.

Recruitment Marketing & Brand Development
  • Begin by exploring existing employer brand and recruitment marketing initiatives across the business, gathering insights on what has been done so far.
  • Translate key brand pillars into clear messaging, resources, and assets that resonate across regions and talent segments.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Excellence to ensure the brand is consistently embedded across the recruitment lifecycle-from sourcing and screening to offer and onboarding.
  • Support activation of the brand across internal and external touchpoints, including careers site, social media, events, and onboarding.
  • Over time, take a leading role in shaping and managing the global employer brand strategy, ensuring its consistent application across all markets.
Recruitment Marketing Campaigns
  • Contribute to planning and execution of data‑driven recruitment marketing campaigns.
  • Work cross‑functionally with Comms, DE&I, Talent Acquisition, and external agencies to deliver compelling content and storytelling across channels.
  • Lead efforts to develop and implement recruitment marketing toolkits, ensuring consistent adoption across the business to enhance brand visibility and candidate engagement.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Own measurement of campaign effectiveness and ROI, optimizing strategy and informing future planning.
Early Careers Strategic Projects
  • Support the Early Careers Lead on strategic initiatives that strengthen graduate, intern, and apprenticeship programs globally.
  • Assist in developing campaigns and resources that position Howden as an employer of choice for early talent.
  • Contribute to projects that enhance candidate experience and align with long‑term early careers strategy.
Stakeholder Engagement & Enablement
  • Create resources and guidance to ensure a consistent candidate experience and brand message across touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive alignment and adoption of brand and early careers initiatives.
  • Develop content that reflects our culture, career pathways, and purpose‑driven work.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends to ensure recruitment marketing and early careers strategies remain innovative, inclusive, and competitive.
What are we looking for?
  • Experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, and / or early careers program development, ideally within a global, matrixed environment.
  • Advanced PowerPoint proficiency and fast turnaround skills; ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling slides and confidently build polished decks that inform, influence, and inspire.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deliver high‑quality work to deadlines.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to work with and support senior leaders.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and Workday.
  • A collaborative, proactive mindset and comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh thinking and innovative approaches to recruitment marketing and early careers strategies.
  • Comfort with data and analytics, using insights to inform decisions, measure impact, and continuously improve campaigns.
  • Experience creating or managing recruitment marketing toolkits, with a focus on driving consistent adoption across teams.
  • Understanding of AI‑powered tools and emerging media platforms (e.g., TikTok, podcasts, employee‑generated content) to reach and engage diverse talent pools.
  • Strong storytelling and content creation skills, with an eye for authenticity and resonance across different audiences and channels.
