Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is seeking an experienced recruitment consultant to enhance their Social Housing team based in London. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting for the housing, building, or facilities sectors, and will ideally understand public sector frameworks. You will be required to work in the London office at least two days a week. This role provides the opportunity to lead and grow within the organization while meeting your recruitment goals.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of recruiting experience in Social Housing or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to do effective business development.
  • Full working rights for the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit Surveyors and Housing Managers.
  • Manage recruitment for Head of Housing and Facilities.

Are you a specialist social housing, housing association or public sector recruiter looking for a step up?

My client is a very well regarded, multi-disciplinary agency, with a very strong brand and excellent reputation across their specialist areas. With offices in London and Tamworth the team is continually growing as their trusted teams consistently smash all of their targets.

They are looking at growing their London Social Housing team, by bringing someone on board who can hit the ground running, who is a full 360 degree consultant who understands the building / maintenance / facilities sector and ideally the public sector frameworks to consistently deliver quality candidates for their clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit Surveyors
  • Recruit Head of Housing
  • Recruit Housing Managers
  • Recruit Head of Facilities / Maintenance
  • Recruit Project Managers

The roles will be a good mix of both temp (contract) and Perm, so you will have the full gambit to go at. They are looking for someone up to Associate Director level, someone who is a leader and wants to progress their career to the next level.

What you need to be successful
  • At least 3-4 years of recruiting into Social Housing, Housing Association, Building, Facilities or Maintenance sectors ideally with a solid understanding of public sector frameworks (not essential but ideal)
  • Be a full 360 recruiter with demonstrated ability to do effective business development and build out a desk / sector.
  • Be able to attend the London office (Monument) at least 2 days per week
  • Have full working rights for the UK without the requirement for sponsorship
