Devonshire Appointments is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our team and develop our client base within the Marketing sector.

We are looking for a recruitment professional with experience in both freelance and permanent roles in the marketing or creative sectors, who has an established client network.

Ideal Background:

  • Experience dealing with the corporate market, preferably in finance or professional services
  • Experience working with Master vendors
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and candidates
  • Experience with temporary recruitment and understanding of relevant labour laws
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills
  • Ability to maintain and grow a profitable desk
  • Highly numerate, capable of managing temporary charges accurately and efficiently
  • Commercially aware, with the ability to interpret P&L statements and client terms confidently

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a recruitment desk serving both freelance and permanent placements in the Marketing sector
  • Prospect for new clients and reconnect with previous clients
  • Interview candidates, meet with clients regularly, and attend industry events and networking opportunities
  • Maintain and expand client relationships, collaborating with colleagues for cross-selling
  • Write compelling job adverts to attract suitable candidates
  • Stay informed about employment law changes affecting hiring practices

This position is primarily remote, with regular travel to meet clients and candidates, and to attend meetings in the City of London.
