Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Consultant to be based at our office in Doncaster. The office works closely with a range of local clients while actively building new relationships across the area to expand our presence.

Your own full UK driving licence is essential, as travel to client sites is required. When based in the office you will be within walking distance of all local amenities in a thriving city centre. There is also free parking available and excellent public transport links.

Recruitment Consultant – Role & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the end‑to‑end booking process of HGV drivers.
  • Attend regular meetings with new and existing clients for both servicing and business growth.
  • Participate in and promote all engagement initiatives with teams.
  • Recruit, book, and manage predominantly HGV drivers for a number of high‑profile clients.
  • Advertise, screen and interview potential HGV drivers.
  • Engage directly with clients and candidates and hand‑on people management.
  • May also handle warehousing flex‑employees where required.
Recruitment Consultant – Working Hours

The role is Monday to Friday. We require flexibility in working hours and days. It is a full‑time role (37.5 hours a week). There may also be requirements for longer hours and potential weekend work during busier periods. The standard hours are 09:00 – 17:00. An on‑call facility based on a rota will be required, but you will not be on call all the time.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining relationships internally and externally.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a larger team.
  • Confident with time management and organisational skills.
  • Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
  • Own a car (apart from a UK driving licence).
