Job description
Role Overview

As a Recruitment Business Partner, you'll play a key role in ensuring the schools and trusts we support receive a responsive, high-quality staffing service every day. Working closely with Account Managers, suppliers and school leaders, you'll coordinate recruitment activity, nurture strong relationships, and keep a close eye on performance to ensure we deliver a reliable, compliant and truly excellent service. This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role where no two days are the same. One moment you might be supporting a school with an urgent staffing need, the next you'll be analysing performance data, speaking with suppliers, or identifying opportunities to grow and strengthen key accounts. You'll be responsible for:

  • Act as a daily point of contact for schools, responding quickly and professionally to staffing requests.
  • Build strong relationships across partner schools to understand their culture, priorities and staffing needs.
  • Coordinate day‑to‑day and long‑term recruitment activity across allocated Multi‑Academy Trusts.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure quality candidates are submitted promptly.
  • Track bookings, fill rates and response times to maintain excellent service levels.
  • Produce simple but accurate performance reports for review meetings.
  • Drive week‑on‑week revenue growth within your accounts and meet individual KPIs.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, sharing insight and supporting cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Ensure all safeguarding, compliance and record‑keeping processes are upheld to the highest standard.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that loves building relationships, enjoys solving problems and thrives in a fast‑moving environment where great service really matters.

About You

You’ll be someone who builds rapport naturally, communicates brilliantly and takes real pride in delivering excellent service. You’ll enjoy working with data as much as people – able to spot trends, track performance and use insight to drive action. We’re looking for:

  • Experience in education staffing, account management or client relations (desirable, not essential).
  • A genuine ability to build trusted partnerships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills – both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised, detail‑focused and great at juggling priorities.
  • A results‑driven mindset with confidence working towards KPIs and growth targets.
  • A proactive, commercially aware and solutions‑focused approach.
  • Someone resilient, adaptable and passionate about making a difference.
  • A data‑savvy mindset, comfortable using reporting tools and systems.
  • An understanding of procurement or frameworks (a bonus, but not required).

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who cares about doing a great job and supporting schools to be the very best they can be.
