Chefs Jobs UK is expanding ourtemporary recruitment divisionand we’re looking for aRecruitment Assistant with hospitality experienceto support our fast-paced temp desk. This role is ideal for someone who understands the realities of hospitality shifts and enjoys a dynamic, people-focused environment.

The Role

You’ll be a key support to our temporary recruitment team, helping to ensure chefs and hospitality staff are booked efficiently and clients are covered at short notice.

Key responsibilities include
  • Supporting day-to-day temporary bookings and last-minute shift cover
  • Sourcing, screening, and registering hospitality candidates for temp work from a variety of platforms including social media
  • Coordinating availability, rotas and shift confirmations
  • Maintaining accurate candidate records, right-to-work checks and compliance
  • Communicating quickly and clearly with candidates and clients
  • Assisting with timesheets, payroll queries and general temp recruitment admin
About You
  • Previous experience working in hospitality is essential
  • Proficient user of social media platforms and an interest in using them to attract potential candidates
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly
