Recovery Worker

We are currently recruiting an experienced Recovery / Support Worker to support with upcoming shifts at a detox hospital in Wrexham. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in drug and alcohol services, detox, rehab, or addiction support, who are confident working in a clinical environment.

Available Shifts
  • 7am - 7:15pm (Day)
  • 1:15pm - 7:45pm (Late)
  • 5pm - 12am (Twilight)
  • 7pm - 7:15am (Night)
Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting service users through detox and recovery programmes
  • Monitoring and recording observations (obs)
  • Assisting with bloods and ECGs where appropriate
  • Providing person‑centred support within a structured clinical setting
  • Working alongside nursing and clinical teams
Essential Requirements
  • Previous experience in detox, rehab, or addiction services
  • Strong drug & alcohol knowledge
  • Ability to work a 12‑hour shift
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK
