Location: Sittingbourne

Salary: A GBP 24,000 per annum

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time

As a Recovery Worker, youll play a vital role within an integrated healthcare framework, supporting adults affected by drug and alcohol dependency. Youll deliver client‑centred treatment through both harm reduction and abstinence‑based approaches, helping service users achieve lasting change.

Youll manage a caseload, deliver structured 1:1 and group interventions, and coordinate care with partner agencies in health, housing, and employment to ensure every client receives holistic support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised care plans.
  • Deliver effective 1:1 sessions, group work, and structured treatment programmes.
  • Provide harm reduction advice and coordinate with healthcare and community partners.
  • Motivate and support clients to engage with their treatment and recovery goals.
  • Manage and prioritise a caseload, meeting KPIs and service deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data (including NDTMS).
  • Uphold safeguarding, confidentiality, and health and safety standards.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to service improvement.
