The role includes providing administrative support, handling queries, and maintaining patient records. If you don't already have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 2 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role.
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work‑related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.
Whether you already work for us or are joining the Trust and NHS for the first time, apprenticeships can help you to develop the skills, knowledge and know‑how to embark on a successful and fulfilling career within the health service.
To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support service to an identified pathway within Aspire. To include the organisation of clerical workload, management of medical records and related documents, receptionist and call handling duties, working over four base points.
This will include dealing with queries from service users, relatives and carers, inputting and updating data relating to the service and working with clinicians and partners for the service delivery.
The post holder is expected to work across three base points on a weekly basis, including a late night shift once a month, working 11-7 on either a Monday or Thursday.
