Receptionist

We are seeking a well-rounded and experienced Receptionist to join our Construction South division, based at our Weybridge office. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator who builds positive relationships with ease and takes pride in delivering a welcoming and well-organised front-of-house service. You will bring a proactive, "can-do" approach, a willingness to learn and develop, and the ability to plan-ahead to support smooth day-to-day operations. As a valued member of our team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across the business, helping to maintain a professional, efficient, and supportive working environment.

Please note that this position is office-based Monday to Thursday each week, with the option to occasionally work from home on a Friday

Key Responsibilities/Deliverables:
  • Provide a professional, friendly, and efficient welcome to visitors and callers.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly, taking accurate messages when needed.
  • Manage meeting room bookings, ensuring requirements (catering, AV, room setup) are fully understood and met.
  • Respond to internal and external customer queries professionally, escalating where needed.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including maintaining postage credit levels.
  • Keep office equipment maintained, and supplies stocked.
  • Support general office management duties as required.
Essential Skills:
  • Confident communicator with strong customer service focus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, professional, and proactive approach to customer and colleague interaction.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working in a reception or administrative support environment.
  • Experience using SharePoint or similar document platforms.
