Role

Receptionist at Dale Road Dental Practice. Hours: 24 hours per week. Overview of duties
  • You are the first point of contact for every customer, welcoming them, understanding how they are feeling, and ensuring a great experience. You will know that first impressions count.
  • You will work side by side with every team member and build trust through efficiency, accuracy, and people skills. You will be a great communicator, able to talk clearly and calmly with patients in person and over the phone.
  • You will handle any concerns and queries regarding treatments on offer, including pricing and follow ups.
Key responsibilities
  • Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
  • Managing the diaries and ensuring time is used efficiently
  • Working with the team to understand the full range of NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice
  • Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
  • Taking payments and pursuing outstanding patient debt
  • Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations
Key skills and experience
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Passion to build knowledge of treatment options within the dental sector
  • Driven to contribute to the practice’s success by seizing opportunities
  • Ability to follow processes and work in a structured, organized way
