Role Description

As a Receptionist you are at the heart of your practice. You are the first point of contact for every patient. Welcoming them in, understanding how they are feeling, and making sure they have a great experience. You will know that first impressions count. You will work side by side with every team member and build trust through your efficiency, accuracy, and people skills. You will be a great communicator, able to talk clearly and calmly with every patient both in person and over the phone. You will handle any concerns and queries that patients have regarding the treatments on offer in the practice, including pricing and follow ups.

Responsibilities
  • Providing an exceptional patient journey both in person and over the phone
  • Managing the diaries and ensuring time is filled correctly
  • Working with the team to understand NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice
  • Completing relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within a specified timescale
  • Taking payments and chasing outstanding patient debt
  • Liaising with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations

  • Ability to easily build rapport and operate at a high level of customer service
  • Passion to build knowledge of treatment options within the dental sector
  • Ability to drive the success of the practice by seizing opportunities
  • Ability to follow processes and work in a structured and organised way
