BAM Infrastructure is recruiting a Receptionist to join its Inverness office, providing a professional front of house service and administrative support within a major UK infrastructure organisation.
This is a full time, office based role, ideal for someone organised, confident, and comfortable working as the first point of contact in a busy professional environment.
You will act as the first point of contact for the Inverness office, welcoming visitors and ensuring a professional and friendly reception experience at all times.
You will manage incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries, directing them appropriately and ensuring accurate information is provided.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of the reception area, ensuring it remains tidy, presentable, and welcoming.
You will coordinate meeting room bookings, prepare rooms for meetings, and provide support to project teams with visitor arrangements.
You will manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier services.
You will support office administration, including filing, photocopying, scanning, minute taking, and updating internal notices and communications.
You will assist with travel and accommodation bookings where required and provide general support to project teams and managers.
You will support office security procedures, including visitor sign in, access control, and staff pass management.
Previous experience in a reception, front of house, or administrative role.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and confident manner.
Good IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office applications.
A reliable, proactive approach and the ability to work independently when required.
A positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues across the office.
