The Advanced Manufacturing Training Centre is focused on developing, maintaining and building upon the vital skills required by manufacturing graduates, technicians, engineers and managers to deliver the technologies that keep the Great British manufacturing industry globally competitive. Working in partnership with Consilium Recruit they are seeking a Receptionist. The purpose of the role is to be the first point of contact and provide first class guest experience to any visitors.

The Role

The Receptionist will be responsible for:

  • Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the reception desk and offer a farewell to guests on departure.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or meeting location.
  • Answer and forward incoming phone calls.
  • Ensuring the reception area remains tidy and presentable.
  • Maintaining security by controlling access via the reception desk.
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
  • Co-ordinate internal meeting rooms & catering requests via room booking system.
The Person

The successful candidate for the Receptionist will possess:

  • Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure guests have a positive experience.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to use own initiative to provide solutions to any potential issues.
