A community health organization in Burnley is seeking a motivated individual to join its Community Roots team. The role involves providing front-line reception duties and supporting the community in accessing health and wellbeing opportunities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic and empathic people person to join our Community Roots based at the Chai Centre Burnley. You will be customer focused with a passion for engaging with the community and helping people access a wide range of health and wellbeing opportunities. You will provide front-line reception duties, welcoming all to Community Roots, whilst maintaining and updating clerical records that support the operational delivery of the service. Applications are encouraged from individuals with demonstrable experience in working with communities and mental health care services.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care. The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
