Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

Our client, one of Northern Ireland’s leading law firms, is seeking a skilled and experienced Real Estate Solicitor to join their expanding team. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile cross-border real estate transactions, advising clients with cross-border transactions (Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland). This position is ideal for a solicitor looking to enhance their cross-border experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment, working with a prestigious client base spanning commercial and private sectors.

Responsibilities

• Cross-Border Real Estate Transactions: Manage and advise on a range of real estate matters, including acquisitions, sales, leasing, and development projects across both NI and ROI.
• Banking and Securities Matters: Provide guidance on property-related banking and security arrangements, including drafting and reviewing security documentation and working with financial institutions.
• Due Diligence and Compliance: Conduct thorough due diligence on real estate assets and ensure compliance with NI and ROI legal standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
• Client Relations and Business Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, anticipating needs and providing tailored advice on complex legal issues.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, including real estate, banking, and corporate colleagues, to deliver seamless, multi-disciplinary services.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor (NI / E&W / ROI): Ideally, you will be dual qualified in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland but this is not essential.
• Cross-Border Real Estate Experience: Demonstrable experience in handling NI and ROI real estate matters, with a strong understanding of legal nuances in both jurisdictions.
• Banking and Securities Knowledge: Familiarity with property-related banking and securities law, including experience working with financial institutions on secured transactions.
• Attention to Detail and Analytical Skills: High level of precision in legal drafting, research, and due diligence for complex transactions.
