Real Estate – Edinburgh (Assignment 16873)

Our client, a leading Scottish law firm, is currently recruiting for an Associate and / or Senior Associate to join their Real Estate Team in Edinburgh.

This role provides the opportunity to offer legal advice on a wide range of commercial real estate matters, particularly in hotel and leisure transactions, while contributing to major projects. Key responsibilities include :

  • Advising lenders and funders on financing high‑end luxury hotel acquisitions in Scotland and internationally.
  • Supporting hotel owners, investors, and operators with portfolio management, expansion plans, and Hotel Management Agreements in collaboration with the hospitality team.
  • Contributing to high‑end Build‑to‑Rent and city‑centre Living Sector developments.
  • Working closely with senior associates, as well as banking, planning, and construction teams, to deliver comprehensive legal support.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years’ PQE with strong commercial real estate experience.

Commercial Real Estate Lawyer – Edinburgh (Assignment 16741)

This firm is currently recruiting a Senior Associate to join its Commercial Real Estate Team in Edinburgh. The team advise on a range of commercial property matters across the retail, leisure, healthcare and investment sectors.

The role will involve handling a range of commercial property transactions, including purchases, sales, leasing, lease management, investment, development, portfolio management, corporate support, and funding.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years’ PQE with extensive experience in commercial property.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive and motivated lawyer, providing direct client interaction, business development prospects, and the support needed to maximise their potential.

Associate / Senior Associate, Real Estate – Edinburgh / Hybrid (Assignment 16544)

This well‑established law firm is currently recruiting for an Associate or Senior Associate to join its expanding property team in Edinburgh. The purpose of the role is to provide legal advice to various clients, particularly public sector clients.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced lawyer with at least 4 years’ PQE level and able to negotiate contracts and advise on all aspects of the purchase, sale, development, and leasing of commercial properties across a broad range of sectors. The main responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Drafting, negotiating, concluding, and implementing contracts for the sale and lease of property assets.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and concluding leases and ancillary lease management documentation.
  • Supporting more junior team members in developing their technical knowledge and skills.

Experience working with or for clients within public sector is advantageous, but not essential. This is a full‑time position offering competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Clean Energy Real Estate – Edinburgh (Assignment 16571)

We are currently working with our client, a leading Scottish‑headquartered Law Firm, on two new vacancies within its Clean Energy Real Estate Team in Edinburgh.

The team focuses on advising developers, investors, and funders on projects in the clean energy sector. The selected candidates will be responsible for offering guidance on the real estate components of projects involving technologies like offshore and onshore wind, solar energy, and battery storage.

The ideal level of candidate will be between 1‑5 years’ PQE with experience in the renewables industry. The role involves regular client engagement and requires excellent organisational abilities to manage a large workload, often within challenging timeframes.

Real Estate Partner – Glasgow / Edinburgh (Assignment 16577)

Our client, a leading UK law firm, is seeking a Partner to lead its well‑established Real Estate Team. While the preferred location is Edinburgh, the firm is also open to candidates based in Glasgow.

The team of specialised lawyers provides expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including real estate finance, construction and engineering, investments, planning and development, and real estate disputes.

To be considered for this role, you should be a highly experienced lawyer with at least 7 years’ PQE and a strong background in real estate law. A client following is desirable, but not essential.

Commercial Property Solicitor – Edinburgh / Dundee / Glasgow (Assignment 16504)
