About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Property (Real Estate) team as a Real Estate Manager. This role focuses on two main areas: coordinating and co-leading our c.£100m Leckford Estate in Hampshire (covering commercial, farming, residential, hotel, leisure, and land), and leading our Sublet Non Trading estate, which includes asset and property management for retail, office, and warehouse spaces let to third parties across the country.

Expected salary - up to £70,000 depending on experience

Contract type - Permanent

Working pattern/flexible working - The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, allowing a mix of office and home-based work based on personal needs, with the team aiming for up to 1 day a week in the office for connection.

Location - This role is based at our London Head Office in Pimlico or our Bracknell Head Office, with a requirement to work from the Leckford office depending on priorities.

What are we looking for?

We seek an RICS accredited Real Estate Manager with experience managing large estates and portfolio management of a mixed asset class estate.

  • Coordinate and co-lead real estate aspects of the c.£100m Leckford Estate, including building a property plan, maximizing rental income and value, budget coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Lead asset and property management for retail, office, and warehouse spaces in the Sublet Non Trading Estate, managing external agents, increasing income, reducing voids, and ensuring compliance and safety.
  • Proactively manage lease renewals, rent reviews, rates appeals, and service charge reconciliations. Identify opportunities to create value and reduce costs, assist in budgeting, and maintain accurate property records. Collaborate with Legal and support strategic plans like disposals and acquisitions.

The role reports to a Senior Portfolio Manager within the Real Estate Property Directorate and involves working closely with the Head of Real Estate and Director of Leckford Estate. It offers opportunities for personal and professional development.

Desirable skills/experience
  • Experience working across various property types in a rural estate context
  • Senior stakeholder management experience within large property teams
