Job description

Our Graduate Real Estate Pathway is the perfect place for aspiring Land Managers, Development Managers & Planning Managers, or anyone with a natural interest in land acquisition, planning policies or project management. This pathway is tailored to expose you to key areas of the business that will develop you into a strong all-rounder within the Real Estate field.

Program Structure

Based in our Leicester office from September 2026, you’ll rotate through the following business areas across an 18‑month programme:

  • Land & Partnerships
  • Technical
  • Commercial
  • Development
  • Regional Finance
  • Construction
  • Development & Land

Start and finish within the Land & Partnerships or Development department. During your final rotation, transition talks are held, offering the possibility to move into the Land, Partnerships or Development teams.

Responsibilities
  • Follow the Real Estate Pathway, completing all rotations to the best of your ability and meeting the targets set by each rotational supervisor.
  • Take all learning opportunities presented during the programme, seeking ways to further develop and challenge yourself.
  • Integrate yourself into each team, supporting team goals and establishing meaningful, long‑lasting professional relationships.
  • Absorb the knowledge, expertise and advice given throughout your rotations; ask questions and probe to deepen understanding.
  • Contribute to continuous development within Vistry Group by being proactively involved in key business initiatives, projects and launches, offering ideas and suggestions where opportunities arise.
  • Be an active member of the Vistry Group Graduate community, supporting peers, participating in (and occasionally hosting) quarterly Graduate meetings, attending masterclasses and professional development opportunities.
  • Act as an advocate for careers in Construction, effectively representing Vistry Future Talent at careers events, fairs and other engagement opportunities.
  • Act as a buddy to future new Graduates, ensuring they receive positive support through their learning journey.
  • Commit to completing further study, qualifications and accreditations as appropriate, should you wish to undertake further professional development.
  • Engage positively with leaders and support systems throughout the programme, regularly meeting to discuss progress, identify areas for focus and seek advice.
