Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a well-regarded, national law firm who are looking for a Real Estate Solicitor to join their team in Newcastle.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and growing Legal 500 ranked Real Estate team, within a collaborative and supportive environment, working on high-quality commercial property matters across a range of sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Managing general property matters including licences, easements, surrenders, rent reviews, lease renewals, and property finance work.
  • Advising on land acquisitions, including options and conditional contracts.
  • Acting on property investment acquisitions and disposals for both buyers and sellers.
  • Handling lease negotiations for both landlords and tenants on commercial premises.
About You
  • 3+ years' PQE or equivalent experience in commercial property
  • Strong technical ability with excellent drafting and written communication skills.
  • Able to manage files independently and contribute to wider team matters when required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client communication skills.
  • Experience in property development or asset management is desirable but not essential.
