Reactive Plumbing / Gas Engineer

Location: South East

Salary: Competitive – Based on Experience

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reactive Plumbing / Gas Engineer to join our team and carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive activities in line with contractual agreements.

Our client is a growing maintenance contractor serving the retail, service, and hospitality sectors, providing a 24/7, 365‑day service. This role involves both in‑hours and out‑of‑hours work, including participation in a rolling call‑out rota for evenings and weekends.

We are seeking proactive, self‑motivated, and quality‑driven individuals. You will be provided with a company van, phone, uniform, and PPE. Candidates must hold relevant certifications and be Gas Safe registered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs across multiple sites.
  • Work with 15mm‑35mm copper pipework to industry standards.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues independently.
  • Ensure compliance with current regulations and site safety protocols.
  • Travel flexibly between job locations as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or City & Guilds equivalent.

  • Must have own transport and a full tool kit.
