Band 5 Therapeutic Radiographer - Sutton site

Would you like the opportunity to work in the largest cancer centre in Europe with an international reputation for high quality patient care, research and education?

In addition to 4 Elekta linear accelerators, the Sutton department has an Elekta MR linear accelerator, Cyberknife unit, Gulmay superficial unit and two Radixact units; we are currently installing an Elekta Evo. The department has a Siemens Confidence CT scanner and utilises multi‑modality imaging for planning. The Royal Marsden Hospital is the largest comprehensive cancer centre in Europe. Responsibilities
  • Carrying out radiotherapy processes at a specialist highly complex radiotherapy work base – which may be a treatment unit, a brachytherapy unit, a CT scanner, a VS area or a treatment preparation area as prescribed – carefully and accurately, and participating as appropriate with clinical research activity in the department.
  • Liaising with medical, physics, nursing, clerical and support staff within the department and throughout the institution. Key working relationships will be with the Senior radiographers.
