A respected construction consultancy is looking for a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London, delivering a mix of residential, commercial, and public sector projects. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years' consultancy or client-side experience.
  • Strong knowledge of both pre‑ and post‑contract work.
  • Residential and public sector project exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project cost plans and estimates.
  • Prepare and issue financial reports and cost forecasts.
  • Lead contractor procurement and evaluate tender returns.
  • Support contract preparation and administration (JCT/NEC).
  • Monitor change control and advise on risks and variations.
  • Liaise with clients and project teams to provide commercial guidance.
  • Assist in mentoring junior team members where appropriate.
