Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to join a growing and reputable main contractor? Our client, a specialist in refurbishment and painting & decorating projects, is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor to support their expanding portfolio across London.

About the Company: With a strong track record of delivering high-quality refurbishment and decorating projects across residential, commercial, and public sector spaces, our client prides themselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail, and strong client relationships. As a main contractor, they manage end-to-end delivery on a wide range of complex and fast-paced projects.

Responsibilities
  • Managing the commercial aspects of multiple refurbishment and painting & decorating projects
  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation
  • Valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Monitoring project costs and cash flow
  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Ensuring projects remain profitable and are delivered within budget and timeframe
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within refurbishment and/or painting & decorating sectors
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., JCT)
  • Excellent numerical, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
