Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Quantity Surveyor on a Permanent Basis, based in North West.

Role Summary

We are seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of the Civil Gas projects. The role will involve managing cost, contracts, and commercial compliance in accordance with NEC requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of the project in line with NEC contracts
  • Prepare and maintain cost plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Undertake measurement and valuation of works
  • Administer subcontract packages, including procurement and payment processes
  • Lead change control, compensation events, and contract notifications
  • Review and assess applications for payment
  • Support project teams with commercial guidance and risk management
  • Produce accurate monthly cost and progress reports
  • Ensure value for money and commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on infrastructure, utilities, or gas-related projects
  • Strong knowledge of NEC contract forms
  • Excellent cost management and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant QS software and Microsoft Office tools
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
