A leading rail contractor in the UK is seeking a Rail Quantity Surveyor to manage and develop commercial teams across major projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in civil engineering, particularly in the rail sector. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in the rail industry.

  • Assist in all contractual matters from inception to close out.
  • Produce monthly CVR reports.

Duties
  • Working with the SQS you will lead, manage, develop and train the commercial teams across your portfolio of projects
  • Assist on all contractual matters from inception to close out via in depth understanding of the contract and its implications for profit delivery.
  • Assisting in the preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings.
  • Assist in the management of the Risk & Opportunities process.
  • Produce monthly CVR reports.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working on civil engineering/infrastructure projects for a contractor, ideally within the rail industry on major projects
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Chartered by the RICS/CIOB (preferred)
