A leading healthcare and retail company in Nottingham is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost aspects of retail property developments. The role involves preparing cost estimates, advising on procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with financial procedures. Candidates should have proven experience in cost management for retail projects, an understanding of JCT contracts, and strong stakeholder management skills. This role is to manage all cost aspects of retail property developments and refurbishments, ensuring commercial success from feasibility through to final account. The QS will provide cost planning, procurement support, contract administration, and financial reporting for a range of retail property projects including high street stores, retail parks, and shopping centres.
This role will support in driving costs down with our main contractors, and ensuring we tender costing and pricing competievly across all elements of the property role inclusive of build and furniture.
The is accountable for the management and influence of the wider relationships across BUK & Hearingcare property teams as well as contractors, suppliers and maintenance teams.
This is a UK National role reporting to the Head of Property
