Quantity Surveyor Chelmsford, Essex | £50,000 – £60,000 | Permanent, Full Time

Noble Recruiting are seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support our client’s Divisional Commercial Director across a portfolio of high-value Commercial projects. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced, solutions-led environment and has a strong eye for accuracy, commercial performance, and project control.

You will manage the full commercial lifecycle of assigned projects, ensuring budgets, timelines, and contractual obligations are effectively met. Collaboration is key, working closely with both office and site teams to deliver safe, compliant, and profitable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer contractual requirements and maintain accurate project records.
  • Prepare and negotiate Applications for Payment, Variations, Notices, and claims.
  • Produce monthly financial reporting including CVRs, forecasting and risk registers.
  • Lead procurement processes, analyse tenders, and place supplier orders.
  • Manage supplier contracts and agree payments, variations, and final accounts.
  • Agree Final Accounts with the client.
Person Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ Quantity Surveying experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and commercial acumen.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy and integrity.
  • Solutions-minded, driven and collaborative.
  • Proven ability to support client relationships and deliver successful financial outcomes.
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport (Chelmsford Head Office).
