Overview

Quality Technician – Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Location: Wellingborough. Salary: £13.84 per hour. Temporary for 3 months. Start date: as soon as possible.

Our client is looking for a detail-driven and proactive Quality Technician to carry out inspections, audits, and data analysis, ensuring products and processes meet the highest standards. Quality is at the core of everything they do, and this role is key to maintaining compliance, driving improvements, and supporting collaboration across our teams.

Responsibilities
  • Check products and materials to ensure they meet company and customer standards.
  • Carry out quality audits and record any issues found.
  • Report problems and suggest improvements.
  • Use Microsoft Office to keep records, analyse data, and share reports.
  • Work with production and engineering teams to fix quality issues.
  • Escalate serious problems to management quickly.
Requirements
  • Experience in quality inspection, auditing, or assurance in manufacturing or services.
  • Good knowledge of quality control standards and methods.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail with good organisation and record-keeping skills.
