Job summary

A leading fresh produce business in Canterbury is seeking a Quality Shift Manager to lead their Packhouse Quality team. You will ensure that products meet food safety, legality, and customer requirements. With over 2 years of experience in a quality management role, you'll drive continuous improvement and quality compliance. This role offers a competitive salary of £42,500 per annum, along with extensive benefits including holidays up to 33 days and health programs.

Qualifications

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and develop a multiskilled QC team
  • Drive quality compliance and continuous improvement
  • Ensure audit readiness and manage customer specifications
  • Investigate complaints and non-conformances
  • Partner with production to embed quality culture
What We’re Looking For
  • 2+ years in a Quality Management role (QA / QC Supervisor or above)
  • Fresh produce experience and knowledge of BRC / TFS standards
  • HACCP, auditing, and food safety qualifications (advantageous)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
